Python Job: DATA SCIENTIST

The objective is to identify and analyse valuable information from data in order to support the business in making better data-driven decisions and taking data-driven actions.

This purpose is accomplished through constant interaction with the business (Product Owners, data translators and functional teams) as well as D&T (Data and BI Solution Owners and D&T Management).

Description

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate and improve predictive models based on business requirements and D&T department demands and document the solution in accordance with best practices;
• Identify, challenge and tailor the analytical approach to the business question;
• Maintain and build relationships with D&T department and business areas to contribute ro development of smart digital products;
• Translate innovations into data driven solutions, based on business priorities and company strategy, in alignment with the enterprise strategy;
• Work closely with business and D&T stakeholders to process and verify data support and analyses and models, liaising with relevant roles in ensuring data quality;
• Act as evangelist of data science throughout the OpCo;
• Continuous self-reflection to improve way of working, delivered work or communications where possible and relevant.

Profile

• Degree in Technology, Mathematics, Physics or similar;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the area;
• Fluent Python and programming skills;
• Experience in applying software engineering best practices;
• Very good English knowledge.
